Depo DIY completes the second sale-leaseback transaction this year

This is Corum's second investment transaction in Lithuania and it was the second Depo DIY store building to be acquired by Corum. The fund invested in the first Depo DIY store earlier this year in Vilnius. Depo DIY 22,000 square meter store building in Kaunas was built and put into operation in June 2019.

The store building is located on one of the main highways of Kaunas, near the main Kaunas highway connecting the directions between Klaipeda, Riga, Vilnius and Warsaw. The store building has more than 500 parking spaces and has received one of the first "A +" class energy efficiency certificates for this type of construction.

Anžela Koļesņikova, Head of Investment at Colliers Baltics, informs that Depo started its operations in the Lithuanian market in 2015 and currently operates five stores in all major Lithuanian cities - two in Vilnius, and one in each Klaipeda, Panevezys and Kaunas - with a total area of ​​more than 110 000 square meters.

Depo DIY group had a turnover of 277.655 million EUR last year, which was 16.5% increase over the prior year. The group's profit increased by 5.7% to 10.711 million euros, according to 'firmas.lv' information.

The transaction amount is not disclosed.
